Never allowed on Phsar
These items and services can't be posted anywhere on Phsar, in any category. If you see one, please report it.
Weapons and dangerous items
- Weapons and ammunition, including realistic-looking replicas, stun guns, and tasers — these can be used to threaten or hurt people, or mistaken for real weapons.
- Fireworks, explosives, and hazardous chemicals — unsafe to sell or ship without special licensing.
Drugs and restricted health products
- Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.
- Prescription medicines — selling them without a licence can seriously harm buyers.
- Alcohol and tobacco offered to minors.
Animals and nature
- Wildlife and protected animals, or parts of them — for example ivory or pangolin scales — which fuels illegal poaching and trafficking.
- Live animals outside the Pets and Farm categories. Animals offered there must be common pets or livestock — never wildlife or protected species.
Fraud, theft, and fake documents
- Counterfeit goods, which mislead buyers and infringe real brands' rights.
- Stolen goods.
- Government IDs, passports, licence plates, and other official documents — these enable identity fraud.
- SIM cards registered to someone else — commonly used to hide identity in scams.
- Hacked accounts, or other people's personal data.
Money and financial schemes
- Financial schemes, unlicensed loans, and crypto "investment" offers — common vehicles for scams.
- Pyramid and multi-level marketing schemes.
- Gambling and lottery — not permitted under Cambodian law on a classifieds site like ours.
People
- Adult content and sexual services.
- Human trafficking, or anything that offers people, or people's labour, for sale.
Jobs and recruitment
Job postings, recruitment, and "work from home" offers aren't supported on Phsar at launch. This category isn't available yet, and listings like this will be removed even if the offer is genuine. We plan to revisit this after launch.
What happens if you post one of these
We remove the listing. Depending on what it was and whether it's a repeated problem, we may also warn, limit, suspend, or ban the account. Some categories — especially weapons, trafficking, and anything touching child safety — are reported to the authorities. See our law enforcement guidelines for how that works.
